Choosing an Energy Healing Treatment: Reiki, IET and Intuitive Healing

Choosing an energy healing treatment

Asttarte Deva Healing Wellness Center offers several forms of Reiki and advanced energy healing. Although these practices come from different traditions, they share a common intention: creating a peaceful space in which you can relax, become more aware of yourself and reconnect with your own energy.

You do not need to know which modality to choose before scheduling. I listen to what you are experiencing, discuss your intentions with you and help determine which approach—or combination of approaches—may feel most aligned.

Each session is personalized. Your comfort, boundaries and consent remain central throughout the experience.

Usui Reiki is the foundation of my energy-healing practice. I began practicing Reiki in 1999, and it continues to be one of the gentlest and most versatile forms of healing energy I offer.

During a session, my hands may rest lightly on approved areas of the body or remain several inches above you. You remain fully clothed.

Some people experience warmth, tingling, relaxation, imagery or emotional release. Others experience the session more subtly. You do not need to sense energy in a particular way for Reiki to offer a meaningful opportunity for rest and self-connection.

Usui Reiki may be chosen when you are seeking relaxation, emotional support, energy awareness or a gentle introduction to energy healing.

Shamballa Multidimensional Reiki is an expansive energy-healing system that incorporates teachings and symbols associated with several Reiki traditions.

I experience Shamballa Reiki as a stronger and more dynamic frequency than traditional Usui Reiki. Some recipients describe it as concentrated, warming or deeply energizing, while others experience it quietly.

Because every person responds differently, I introduce this work according to your comfort, sensitivity and experience with energy healing. It may be incorporated when someone wants to explore deeper energetic awareness or feels ready for a more intensive spiritual-healing experience.

Tera-Mei Seichem Reiki is associated with the energetic qualities of earth, air, fire, water and spirit.

Within this tradition, these elements can be understood symbolically:

Spirit represents connection with the sacred or higher self.

A session may draw upon these qualities according to what feels most supportive. I experience Tera-Mei Seichem as both subtle and highly vibrational, particularly when someone is seeking grounding, balance or spiritual connection.

Kundalini Reiki is intended to support awareness of the energetic pathway traditionally associated with the base of the spine, the chakras and the crown.

Rather than trying to force a dramatic awakening, I approach Kundalini Reiki gently and respectfully. The purpose is not to create an intense experience or promise a particular result. It is to provide a grounded space for energy awareness, meditation and spiritual exploration.

If someone is especially sensitive, anxious or unfamiliar with energy work, we may begin with Usui Reiki or another calming practice first.

Integrated Energy Therapy, commonly called IET, combines gentle touch or hands-above-the-body techniques with specific areas associated with the body’s energy field.
