Ceremonial cacao has been honored in various cultural traditions as a plant associated with the heart, connection, reflection, and community.

At Asttarte Deva Healing Wellness Center, cacao ceremonies may be incorporated into private intimacy coaching, couples healing, grief support, breathwork, and other integrative healing sessions.

These heart-centered experiences offer an opportunity to slow down, become present, set meaningful intentions, and approach deeper emotional work with compassion and awareness.

Supporting Emotional Safety & Deeper Connection

When we have experienced heartbreak, betrayal, abandonment, grief, or emotional disconnection, opening ourselves to love again can feel frightening. We may long for closeness while simultaneously protecting ourselves from vulnerability.

A guided cacao ceremony creates a supportive ritual space in which individuals and couples can explore these experiences with greater presence and intention.

Ceremonies may include:

  • Ceremonial cacao prepared with care and intention
  • Heart-centered meditation and conscious breathing
  • Gentle somatic awareness and grounding
  • Guided reflection on emotional needs, fears, and attachment patterns
  • Opportunities to explore grief, forgiveness, vulnerability, and self-compassion
  • Supportive communication practices for couples
  • Integration of insights into ongoing intimacy and relationship healing

Cacao for Couples

For couples experiencing emotional distance, a shared cacao ceremony can offer a meaningful beginning to a deeper healing session. Partners are invited to slow down, become present with themselves and one another, and explore what may be standing between them.

With compassionate guidance, couples can practice listening, expressing their needs, acknowledging fears, and approaching difficult conversations with greater emotional awareness.

The intention is to cultivate conditions that support honesty, mutual respect, tenderness, and the gradual rebuilding of trust.

Cacao for Individual Heart Healing

For individuals experiencing grief, heartbreak, loneliness, or relationship trauma, a private cacao ceremony may provide a gentle ritual for reconnecting with the heart.

Sessions can be combined with intimacy coaching, attachment exploration, breathwork, or somatic stress release. Each experience is personalized according to the client’s emotional needs, intentions, and comfort level.

A Gentle Addition to Intimacy, Relationship & Emotional Healing

A warm cup of ceremonial cacao can be incorporated into private healing sessions as a heart-centered ritual to encourage relaxation, presence, reflection, and emotional connection.

Combined with intimacy coaching, grief healing, breathwork, or couples relationship work, cacao offers a meaningful opportunity to slow down, set intentions, and gently explore feelings surrounding love, trust, vulnerability, and connection.

For couples, sharing cacao can become a beautiful opening to conversations about emotional distance, attachment wounds, and rebuilding closeness. For individuals, it can offer a nurturing moment of self-connection while exploring grief, heartbreak, loneliness, or emotional healing.
